No: No. NyQuil contains a combination of medicines that may be VERY dangerous in young kids! If your child is in pain, over-the-counter Tylenol (acetaminophen) can help (take only as directed!). If they have a cough, then studies have shown that HONEY actually works better (1-2 tsp as needed) than cough syrup! It thins secretions and loosens the cough. Only use it in kids older than 1 year!

No, ma'am: Avoid cough &amp; cold medications in children under 6 years old. All NyQuil products contain sedating antihistamines, hypnotics or alcohol, so they are not recommended for anyone under age 18.

i have a healthy 3 and a half yr old no minor or major health issues she has a cold wud it b ok to give her dayquil  or nyquil for her symptoms?

No: It turns out the decongestants don't really work for kids her age and there is a small risk that some of the ingredients can be harmful. So i would suggest avoiding them and simply giving her body time to fight off the symptoms.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) OK: It's ok to give him tylenol (acetaminophen) to reduce fever as long as you give him recommended doses.

False neg for what?: Most people are not usually concerned about false negative results. The exception being the people who are prescribed a medication and rather than taking it, are selling it on the street.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Nyquil: It depends on what Nyquil you have as there is one on the market with an antihistamine in it, which is what Zyrtec (cetirizine) is.  You would not want to take two antihistamines in one day without talking to your physician or the pharmacist.

Not generally: Most employers test for drugs of abuse, and nyquil, outside of a little alcohol, does not have any of the drugs they would be testing for (usually amphetamines, pcp, marijuana, opioids, benzodiazepines, cocaine).  Also, they usually ask you to fill out paperwork on what your medications are, so you should just list the nyquil.

Mgt: Nasal saline rinses may work as well fewer side effects. I would nif advise using Nyquil.

2 hours: Nyquil contains Acetaminophen (generic tylenol),  if you need to give Ibuprofen because of fever or pain, you need to wait at least 2hours.
