Probably: Everyones response to foods is different. There is nothing intrinsic in the foods which make them prohibited. I would use your body as a guide to if and how much you can eat of these or other foods.

What to avoid: Rather then eat foods to reduce reflux, i try to counsel patients on foods to avoid that trigger reflux. This may differ in everybody but known triggers are caffeine, chocolate, nicotine, alcohol, soda, licorice, peppermint. You should keep a dietary log to see what your triggers are. And if you have red flags like difficulty swallowing, weight loss, vomiting or black stools, please c md.

Not so much WHAT...: But how much -- the more that's in your stomach --&gt; higher pressure --&gt; more reflux.  Eat smaller meals, and stay upright for at least an hour afterwards.  Avoid tomatoes, citrus, chocolate, caffeine, peppermint, alcohol, and fatty foods -- these all make reflux worse. 
  Milk may soothe the esophagus; otherwise there are no foods that help.  Make sure you take a powerful acid blocker (prilosec).

Fods: Avoid beverages that seem to trigger heartburn or make it worse, such as:
coffee or tea (both regular and decaffeinated)
other beverages that contain caffeine
carbonated beverages
alcohol

avoid foods that seem to trigger your heartburn or make it worse, such as:
citrus fruits, such as oranges and lemons
tomatoes and products that contain tomatoes, such as tomato sauce and salsa
chocolate
mint or.

More reflux!: The more food in your stomach, the higher the pressure, and more reflux.  Eat smaller meals, and stay upright for at least an hour afterwards.  Avoid tomatoes, citrus, chocolate, caffeine, peppermint, alcohol, and fatty foods -- these all make reflux worse. 
   Make sure you take a powerful acid blocker (prilosec/prevacid) to avoid acid damage on the esophagus (and cancer!).  Good luck!

: Apple sauce will not affect acid reflux either way.
If you are overweight losing weight is imperative for controlling acid reflux. If the reflux persists, it would be prudent to consult a GI
 specialist.

Accepted Answer

Depends on how made: (acid reflux is a common cause of feeling of heartburn.)  if air popped & eaten in moderation, popcorn likely won't cause problems.  If buttered, cheesy, or cooked in oil, more likely to increase acid reflux. Everyone is different; if it seems to worsen heartburn or acid brash, avoid it. Avoid:fatty/greasy/oily foods, cheese, peppermint, chocolate, alcohol, tomatoes, caffeine, citrus, overeating.

Maybe: Every person is different in their triggers for ace reflux and i would look at how your body reacts to it. There are some reports of cinnamon helping gerd and certainly it may trigger the symptoms in others.

None  : You could have almost pizza with whole grain crust, . No tomato sauce & small amount low fat cheese.( immitation pizza).
