More reflux!: The more food in your stomach, the higher the pressure, and more reflux. Eat smaller meals, and stay upright for at least an hour afterwards. Avoid tomatoes, citrus, chocolate, caffeine, peppermint, alcohol, and fatty foods -- these all make reflux worse. Make sure you take a powerful acid blocker (prilosec/prevacid) to avoid acid damage on the esophagus (and cancer!). Good luck!
