Warfarin : When you are taking serious medications, it is not a good idea to add your own supplements that we don't necessarily understand. It is rare that these 'health supplements' have scientifically proven benefits.

Not sure: I couldn't find anything specifically about HIBISCUS tea, but tea in general can both antagonize warfarin (lower the INR) and also promote bleeding by interfering with platelet function which won't show up in the INR. That said, I'll bet a lot of people on warfarin drink tea, so if he loves tea, I'd say use it cautiously and monitor the INR.

Yes: Any source of vitamin k can reduce the effectiveness of warfarin. Some other things to be aware of are blueberries, sweet potatoes, and dark green vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli, and kale.

Coumadin (warfarin): Drinking alcohol will increase your risk of bleeding while taking warfarin.

In moderation: Do not drink until you "fall down."  that is a really bad idea on blood thinners.

Just liquids: Coumadin (warfarin) is a  blood thinner, it reduces clotting: how are you losing blood? Only trauma (a cut, bruise etc) would allow the effects of Coumadin (warfarin) to reduce blood volume.  Your dosage may need to changed. Speak to an md, especially a hematologist. Hydration has no effect on how the medication works, other than it is healthy to stay hydrated.

Sure BUT!!!!: I would advise anyone on Coumadin (warfarin) not to drink and if so, to drink no more that 1-2 ounces of alcohol in a 24 hour period.  The risk of falls and severe injury, bleeding and even death is too great.  The physical and immediate act fo taking the dose with alcohol is probably not a major issue, but why would you do it?  There are not many medications that i take more serious than using coumadin (warfarin).
