Not sure: I couldn't find anything specifically about HIBISCUS tea, but tea in general can both antagonize warfarin (lower the INR) and also promote bleeding by interfering with platelet function which won't show up in the INR. That said, I'll bet a lot of people on warfarin drink tea, so if he loves tea, I'd say use it cautiously and monitor the INR.
