Depends: They do grow slowly over time, but sudden changes in size not associated with pregnancy may mean infarction of the fibroid (also called degeneration), but rapidly growing fibroids may mean cancer or leiomyosarcoma.  If you haven't seen a gynecologist, please do so.

Painful fibroids: For pregnant women with painful fibroids, supportive care and administration of acetaminophen as the initial intervention recommended.  Short-term use of opioids in standard doses or a course of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs &amp;#40;NSAIDs&amp;#41; can be given when pain is not controlled by these measures. Pregnancy termination is an elective procedure available for patients who desire it.

Talk to your doctor-: Your OB can help you with pain management if the fibroids are very painful.  The OB is likely monitoring the fibroids growth during the pregnancy (this occurs due to the increase in estrogen and often they shrink again after delivery).  There is nothing more to do about them now other than that.  Good luck!  Know that the pain usually gets better...

Perhaps: All doctors do not perform abortions but most can refer you to a doctor that does. It is usually considered safest to get this done before 12 weeks if you decide that it is really what you want to do. Talk to friends and family before you make this important decision. You do not have much time.

Very effective : Uterine artery embolization (uae) is a very effective, non-surgical, outpatient procedure to treat symptoms from fibroids. Typical recovery 4-5 days (out of work 1week). A small percentage of patients have a rough go with pain, most find it manageable with oral meds. Most important to find an experienced ir with uae and one that has a specific pain regimen in place.

Fibroids : Your questions is cut off I think. Fibroids can sometimes cause bleeding to be heavy and painful. There are many treatments available for heavy and painful bleeding that you could consider. I recommend seeking care from and obgyn for an exam to make sure it is the fibroids causing this and to discuss treatment options

Yes: Tme bcp may help to "melt" the cyst.
Make a follow up appointment with your gyn to make sure the fibroid is stable and the cyst resolves.

Its hard to say: Everyone's pain tolerance is different.  Typical recovery from laparoscopic surgery is about 2 weeks. Assuming no complications. Talk to your doctor about pain medication usually prescribed after surgery.

i took tylenol (acetaminophen) with codeine 15 mg but my fibroids is so painful can i take 1,000 mg tylenol (acetaminophen) pls!

Tylenol (acetaminophen) dosing: Yes, you can take a 1000mg dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen). However, in any 24 hour span don't exceed 3000mg. Also, since Tylenol (acetaminophen) is metabolized by the liver, avoid alcohol if you are going to be taking larger doses for more than a few days.  Then talk to OB/GYN about other options for pain control with your fibroids.

i'm 32, few days after period i notice a very painful spot below my waistline on my right side.if i press hard, i feel the pain severely.is it fibroid?

Unsure: It could be an ovarian cyst, fibroid, or even underlying endometriosis that is in an unusual location.  Sched appt with your gyn coinciding with when the mass should be there to help the doc figure it out.  Good luck!
