skin on hands, face, stomach is swallen in a few places, raised, almost appears like allergic reaction, heaves, rush like, dry to touch. lasts for weeks, gets better and then worse again. only in 3-4 places. what could cause this?

Allergic reaction: You may be experiencing an allergic reaction. Take an antihistamine for the next two weeks, daily. Avoid exposure to plant oils, fragrance and harsh soap.
Use a baby eczema lotion and caladryl lotion to affected areas a few times per day.

Diphenhydramine: A rash/hives in diverse location suggests an internal response to something. This can certainly be a food, but it could be a new seasoning in a food or a food he just became allergic too. It can also be seen as a stage in some illnesses or bug bites. Skin lotions seldom help diverse rashes. Diphenhydramine (Benedryl) is OTC in the US &amp; has good anti-itch benefits.

May be allergy: could be an allergic reaction to any of your cosmetics, try to sort out which one is causing such symptoms and avoid using it, when using a new cosmetic, try it first on a small area behind your ear and wait for two days at least to see if any redness or itching, if not, start using it, good luck

Avoid harsh detergents, fragrance and products with chemicals or alcohol. A photo log of the rash provides added information.

Probably not : An allergic reaction should not lead to herpes...But wondering  what was allergic reaction and if you know you had  herpes in past(ie. ? Same raah you had before) however if  it doesn't  look like prior "rash" (or never had herpres) see your dr. If doesn't get better.
