No: all you will do is defeat the hard work you have done the rest of the week/month. It's total calories that you don't eat but do burn off that leads to weight loss. It's 3500 calories to the pound. You can't learn how to eat properly for the rest of your life if you start off with cheating.

It needs to be a long-term commitment. You should shoot for no more than 0.5-1 kilograms of weight loss per week. A visit to a dietitian may assist you in figuring your calorie counts. Stick with it. No such luck: The only way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more. Increased daily activity can help burn some of the fat but eating less and low calorie foods are more effective. Shift to plant based foods like fruits and vegetables and reduce the amount of fat in your diet as much as possible. Also limit the amount of sugar in foods, deserts and avoid sugary beverages.

To lose weight insure that calories burned &gt; calories consumed. Drink at least 8  - 8 oz glasses of water per day.  Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables ; 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid.

Walking will help to lose weight along with portion and calorie control.  Consider using a wearable that can keep track of your steps.  Aim first for 10,000 steps/day.
