i have been drinking some warm tea recently with apple cider vinegar and everytime i drink it i feel like a warm / slight burn sensation in my throat (feels like in the adams apple area behind my throat). is thst normal?

Yes.: Vinegar is an acid, so it&#x27;s normal if it causes a burning sensation when consumed.  Avoid excessive consumption of acidic foods; they can trigger or worsen heartburn and other acid reflux symptoms such as throat irritation.

Possibly: Apple cider vinegar is acidic, so it is entirely possible it could irritate your throat when you swallow it, especially if you swallow it without diluting it with anything else. If your throat is irritated for some reason, then the vinegar will burn more. It is not generally harmful to swallow it in pure form. Many people do this as a part of a dietary regimen to reduce appetite before meals.

i quit taking protonix (pantoprazole) two weeks ago the burning in my throat is back, dr. suggested apple cider vinegar to help but i makes it worse. any suggestions?

Slow transition: Sometimes it's better to taper off the Protonix (pantoprazole) gradually to prevent a rebound reflux problem. Another option is to take otc antacids  like zantac or Pepcid symptomatically for a while.  If all else fails, then you may need  to stay on protonix (pantoprazole).

my wife was having apple cider vinegar last 2 months. now she.is having severe burning sensation in her throat and esophagus. could this be the cause?

Possible: Vinegar is very acidic and if she has an underlying problem with reflux or gastritis it can make it much worse. She needs to stop it and all acids and contact her doctor asap for evaluation and treatment.

Yes!: I know of no negative interactions between Azithromycin and apple cider vinegar, which is safe and often highly effective in quickly relieving heartburn. Dilute it in water. Hope it helps!

Cider vinegar: I have never found drinking vinegar good to drink. But that is because I prefer a good wine.

Avoid vinegar: A person with heartburn should avoid vinegar and other acidic foods or liquids. The person is likely already taking acid blockers and antacids to decrease acidity in the stomach. It would be bad to eat or drink more acid, because the whole point of treatment is to decrease acid in the stomach and esophagus.

Yes: Your body will ignore this when making breast milk. Minimal to moderate intake is okay, but why you would drink it is a puzzle.Many common fluids we drink are acidic.
