Not cardiac: Mostly lf your had heart tests then your heart is okay. You may want to check your heart rate, this may be causing chest pain and anxiety.

Could be but........: The symptoms you described could occur during a panic attack. However, if this is the first time you are experiencing these symptoms and you have no previous underlying medical/psychiatric or stressful situations that would account for them, then get checked out as soon as you can.

Chest pain:  When it comes to new-onset chest pain - it may be prudent to have it assessed. Hopefully you will be medically cleared &amp; can  address that anxiety. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night &amp; good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies &amp; 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises &amp; meditation.

i have panic disorder, see a therapist and have had my heart checked which is said to be healthy. since last july i battle panic attacks every day. i have chest pain and palpitations. how do i cope?

Mallory Weiss: Most mw tears are indeed minor and self limited.  They will heal without any help as long as you can keep from vomiting.  Continued or worsening pain might prompt a relook.  Anxiety could certainly make your symptoms more noticeable.

It sounds like the: Anxiety has negatively effected your GI tract, which explains the use of nexium.  Nexium can cause headache, nausea and diarrhea commonly and low magnesium levels and may effect how other medicines work.  Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is an antihistamine which can cause headache, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness and other side effects.

had bp of 168/108 at the doc. i have severe panic disorder, is this the cause? i'm 18 and healthy and not overweight. what could be underlying causes?
