No: Contacts can cause problems with the eye surface such as allergies to contact cleaning solutions, infections, poor oxygen supply to the cornea, but do not affect the intraocular structures.  Eye pressure is determined by the rate at which the aqueous fluid is made within the eye and resorbed through a structure called the trabecular meshwork (also within the eye).

Elevated intraocular pressure can result in  limited vision , initially peripherally  which may not be noticed and eventually blindness. There are medications to treat the pressure ( see above), or laser or surgery.  F/u/ w/ ophthalmologist.

: Yes you do. You need to see am ophthalmologist who will diagnose whether it is closed or open angled and treat you otherwise you may damage your vision. Pl do that

i was practicing in a class where we used sticks. my partner accidentally poked me in my eye with the butt end of his stick. i'm not sure if my eye was closed or not, but my contact lens popped out. my eye isn't red but there is pressure in the back.

Probably OK: The stick probably grazed across the contact lens which removed it and it also protected your cornea from abrasion.  If the vision is fine, the eye does not hurt and there is no redness - then you should be fine.  Pressure is a common symptom and is probably unrelated.

Contradictory quest: The definition of glaucoma is elevated pressure that causes optic nerve damage. So if there is anything that results in increased eye pressure that causes nerve damage then that is by definition glaucoma. Better to ask what causes nerve damage besides glaucoma, there are many causes such as atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, many other systemic conditions.

Many things: Glaucoma is caused by high intraocular pressure.  Some people can have high pressures (ocular hypertension) and not have developed glaucoma yet. Many things can increase intraocular pressure including impaired "drainage channels" , neovascularization, inflammation, and impaired venous outflow. In order to determine the cause, a complete eye exam with an ophthalmologist would be required.

i have glaucoma and had cataract in my left eye removed. brimonidine, ketorolac, dorzolamide and xalatan are my drops. will the dark circles under my eyes and eyelid darkness be permanent? i suffer from chronic high eye pressure?

: These are important questions that can best be answered by one's ophthalmologist who can inspect one's eyes and surrounding skin and, after reviewing the current medications, can comment on the skin discoloration.

Need evaluation: The next step is to see an ophthalmologist for optic nerve scanning.  This should reveal any damage to the optic nerve.  If damage is present, you have glaucoma and should be treated.  If no damage is present, observation with repeat testing in 6-12 months is advised.

The same way: Treatment of eye pressure high enough to cause problems is the same for teenagers as it is for adults.  This would be a sequence of eyedrops, laser and operative surgery.  Elevated pressure in teenagers is very uncommon so a good examination by an ophthalmologist should be undertaken to discover any other problems.
