: It can, but doesn't always do so. Almost any antibiotic, including clindamycin, can suppress normal bacteria, allowing yeasts to grow and cause symptoms.

: Feeling of 'sickness' is very subjective. so yes it can. UTI will give additional symptoms of frequency and burning during urination only . If you continue to feel unwell Pl see your MD.

Yogurt: An old fashioned remedy that women still do today is use plain (no sugar added) yogurt.  Using your fingers, you can place a small amount of it up into your vagina for a few days.  If you google "yogurt bacterial vaginosis" you'll be surprised by how many people talk about it.
