Symptomatic?: It's great you are cautious about the antibiotic. However, if you do not have diarrhea before taking the cipro, (ciprofloxacin) it will not be useful-  testing for c diff before antibiotics is not recommended.

went to er/ bad stomach cramping (like contractions / not preg) and diarrhea that was that was mucousy & maybe bloody.  wbc (19000) and stool  shows white blood cells.  cipro (ciprofloxacin)? can't this cause c-diff?

Yes: Its less frequent with Ciprofloxacin than othman other types but can occur.  Remember, acid reducers like Omeprazole double the risk.  Metronidazole orally is the first treatment, vancomycin can be used as well.  There may be a role for probiotics but i don't want to mislead; good luck, that's a rough one around the holidays.

finished a 7 day course of bactrim for a p. mirabilis uti. still having low fever (99.6-100.1) and urinary discomfort. kidneys are fine. i'm high risk for c. diff so don't want to take cipro (or amox) if possible. anything else to try/more bactrim?

: Proteus mirabilis is usually quite sensitive to Bactrim and 7 day course is long enough unless you have bladder stone. Recurrent bladder infection with Proteus species may be coexistent with bladder stone.
Antibiotic of choice should be based on the urine culture result, was Proteus sensitive to Bactrim? Cipro may precipitate C. diff colitis but much less with cephalosporins.

~30-36 hours: If that is indeed the cause of your depression then it would take approximately 30-36 hours after your last dose of cipro (ciprofloxacin) to decrease to about 0.8% in your body.  I would tell the person who prescribed you the cipro (ciprofloxacin) that you were stopping it.  You were likely given cipro (ciprofloxacin) to stop some sort of infection, and only half treating infection can lead to antibiotic resistant infections.

Unlikely: There have been interactions reported in patients who have taken both ciprofloxaxin and prochlorperazine, but these have not been severe and almost entirely reversible. Should be ok.

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.  Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.
Practice safe sex.

No: No relationship. General allergic risk to any antibiotic is said to be 2% ( 2 out of a 100).

Per Drugs.Com: Uncommon side effects can include: "anxiety, confusion, drowsiness, depersonalization, depression (potentially culminating in self-injurious behavior, such as suicidal ideations/thoughts and attempted or completed suicide), dysphasia, hallucinations, insomnia, lethargy, manic reaction, nightmares, paranoia, phobia, toxic psychosis, abnormal dreams, somnolence".

can flagyll and cipro (ciprofloxacin) cause thyroiditis?

I have never seen it: There are infectious agents causing acute thyroiditis and antibiotics actually treat the thyroidistis/infection. Anything is possible and i suppose antibiotics can cause an unexpected reaction to induce thyroiditis, but it has never been reported with the two medicines you mentioned. If you have trouble with your thyroid, consult you pcp or an endocrinologist. Good luck.
