Yes: It is possible to get pregnant while infected with chlamydia but the chlamydia needs to be treated. Untreated chlamydia can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease which can make women infertile. Additionally, untreated chlamydia can spread to the baby and cause major medical issues for the baby. Treat your chlamydia--go to your doctor as soon as possible.

PID: No.  A single dose, 1 gram, of Azithromycin, is acceptable treatment for chlamydia.  PID, however, is often polymicrobial - caused by more than one bacteria - and, as such, one needs other antibiotics, as well.  PID is a serious infection and should be treated by your provider.

Possible but unlikel: Mostly likely you were infected but were successfully treated, hence the negative test two weeks later.

Chlamydia, if treated, will not harm to the infant.  Active chlamydia infection at time of labor may infect the infant.
