Cellulitis: This does not sound like cellulitis. Itchy bumps sound more like urticaria, or allergic reaction. Can you send a picture?

It could be: Residual hemisiderin deposits under the skin from the previous cellulitis. Try an anti-histamine cream to calm the itching. If it doesn't resolve In a few days then see your doctor. It could be unrelated.

Cellulitis: If this is truly cellulitis, and there are streaks starting to form around the area, then you should get evaluated by a Doctor as you may need antibiotics as part of a curative treatment.  best wishes.

Should be fine: It is not uncommon to have some sensations under the skin after an infection but they should go away promptly.  If it continues see  your doctor.

The skin may be broken and become infected if the bite area is scratched. If not treated properly, these local infections may become severe and cause a condition known as cellulitis. Yes. : Just moisturizer but not Vit E alone. You can do cetaphil or eicerin. Those would be ok or anything similar.

Probably not: That sounds much more like an allergic reaction to it, give the time frame.  Try Hydrocortisone cream and oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or claritin.

my daughter is taking antibiotics and cortisone for cellulitis. it is less swollen but has become very itchy. is it normal and what can she do?

Healing: Itching is not uncommon in healing skin lesions. If the swelling and discharge have abated, it is likely a sign of healing.

took doxycyclin for cellulitis on my leg for 21 days. i still have a little bump  (bruise looking)  and my leg still feels swollen and itchy. normal?

1 leg or both? Fevr?: The situation is rather complex. There are many questions to be asked &amp; we need a picture or an exam in order to understand what's going on. 21 days is an awful long time to take antibiotics. I suspect you have dermatitis (irritation of skin) rather than cellulitis (infection of skin), as the non-response to antibiotics indicates. Use HealthTap Prime or TTYD about symptoms. Good luck.
