The easiest way to decrease these symptoms is to cut down on your caffeine intake.  If you're concerned or if the symptoms persist, the you can get checked.

It's not taste buds: That concern me in this case - it's the vomiting and dizziness for such a prolonged time. This can lead to and be a sign of severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. It warrants urgent attention and deeper evaluation into the cause of the problem.

Caffiene: Overdosage of caffeine can cause dizziness.  Taking it on an empty stomach can cause a rapid absorption of the caffeine, causing a transient lay high level in your system.  This usually doesn't last long, but in the future, have a little food in your stomach.  Feel better!

If sensitive to it: It is possible that caffeine can cause those symptoms in sensitive individuals. 

Avoid any caffeine and see if the issue goes away, . Then reintroduce it and if the problem comes back, you have your answer.

Individual sensitivi: The only answer this would be the you have individual sensitivity or susceptibility to this caused by the caffeine. It is well-known that caffeine worsens hand tremors. In addition, it would generally increase reflexes. However, when it comes to chemicals in the brain, no two people are alike. This is also why you would have dizziness when other people don't.

Many things: could cause such spells, most common would be LOW blood sugar.  
Keep a careful diary of when they occur, what you are doing, when you had last eaten or drunk anything, and get an appointment to be seen soon if this is happening often.  Obviously avoid caffeine, sugar, and try to eat frequent small meals that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates.  Good luck!

Very Possible: Abruptly stopping caffeine can definitely have withdrawal side effects.  The most common is a headache and a lot of people who drink coffee at work get "weekend headaches" when they don't drink as much caffeine at home. To some degree it depends on what you mean by dizzy. Lightheaded type dizziness would be expected as would a headache. A sensation of true spinning is different and not expected.
