Miscarriage &amp; APL: Antibodies should be positive on multiple occasions, and not simply IgM class. There are so many other factors that could lead to miscarriage, that if you've had repeated loss, you should review your medical history with a reproductive endocrinologist. The most common cause is a bad egg, but PCOS, clotting issues, uterine abnormalities, infection and the immune system could contribute to MC.

Should be ok: Try not to stress yourself in your first trimester, stay well hydrated and drink plenty of water, get good and regular sleep, take your prenatal vitamins, and follow your OB GYN's directions. Mthfr genes: Heterozygous individuals pass the mutation to a child 50% of the time. If both parents carry mthfr genes, there is a 1:4 chance that a child will have both, and 1:4 chance of neither (normal).  Ask your OB to check your homocysteine level, and folate level, but most with heterozygosity do not need treatment.  Only homozygous or a child with both genes may have clotting disorders.

Ibuprofen?: 200 mg. of ibuprofen is not likely to have any negative effects on a pregnancy.  Aspirin (adult size of 325 mg.) is also relatively harmless in pregnancy.

Sadly, no.: There's no evidence that supplemental DHEA has any positive effects, altho too much DHEA may have negative effects.  I don't understand why extensive testing yielded only the advice to take aspirin.  Perhaps you miscarried b/c of clotting of the placenta's blood vessels. Talk with the doctor: Two miscarriages in two years is unfortunate, but it may simply be a matter of luck. Some women with blood clotting abnormalities are more prone to miscarry, and may be advised to use low-dose Aspirin - but please don't do with without a proper diagnosis. Aspirin has side effects, too. And it might not be the right treatment. See your doctor about this; they may do some blood tests to look further.
