Pain: You need to determine the source of your pain by seeing your doctor.  This may be pinched nerves, anxiety, or a combo.  Using both MD help and a clinical psychologist who works w/pain management can be an effective way to treat.  Modalities such a biofeedback or clinical hypnosis (www.asch.net) after seeing doc can be very useful.  Peace and good health.

Nerve: This can be from nerve compression from a disk in the spine or arthritis.  It can occur in patients with vascular disease of the leg.
It can also occur with muscle spasms in the lower back causing associated tingling in the extremity.  If it's bothersome enough, see your family md for eval.

at 39 had arm/leg tingling, dizziness; docs dx as herniated disks. since then feels like i've grown 3 inches taller. could tests, anything cause that?

"Feel like"?: Do you FEEL like you've grown 3 inches taller, or have you ACTUALLY grown 3 inches taller? Please repost with the actual measurements. Or, if you feel like you've grown 3 inches taller but have not measured your height, please state why not.

Nerve: Depending on the location, brain tumor in cerebrum may cause presssure or infiltrate the brain sensory nerve fibers that Innervate arms and legs, resulting in abnormal sensation such as tingling.

Herniated discs: Disc herniations are a cause arm and leg tingling, but dizziness would not be directly attributable to a herniation.   But pain can be described in many ways, so it is possible that your herniation is causing your other symptoms. If it has been over 6 weeks, try an epidural steroid injection. If your dizziness and extremity symptoms improve, then the herniation is likely causing your symptoms.

Elastic fibers torn: Like a ballon that is over extended and over-stretched , the skin can be over-stretched causing elastic fibers to tear and the overlying skin can be thinned and more sensitive.

Need more info: These symptoms appear like neuropathy. Do you have any medical problems like diabetes, hypertention, circulation problems etc. It is difficult to suggest treatments with out seeing you.
