A mental health: Can diagnose the type of anxiety you are dealing with.  He/she can also teach you some strategies to manage it w, ell, e.g., self-hypnosis, meditation, biofeedback  etc.  A self help book you and add in addition is the relaxation response by cardiologist herbert benson. should i be concerned that during intense panic attacks i experience facial numbness on the right side of my face? and minor headaches on the right side as well? i can even think myself into experiencing these sensations because i have severe anxiety

Symptoms:  Paresthesias are common with panic attakcs - often effecting lips, face or fingers. I am not sure why you have symptoms just on the right side of your face. It sounds like your panic attacks are not well controlled. If you are not already seeing a psychiatrist/ psychologist/ therapist - would recommend that.

Need eye exam.: Ms can cause painful vision loss. But so can other  conditions. If you're on topomax, it can cause vision changes and elevated eye pressure. Floaters are not related to either ms or topomax. Please see an ophthalmologist for your visual complaints.

Yes: An injury to the infraorbital nerve can occur with an injury and fracture of the anterior wall of maxillary bone.  This would lead to numbness along the anterior cheek and upper teeth.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.

It can: An acute ms flare can cause numbness and/or paralysis.  Other causes must be considered.  If new and acute, urgent treatment with IV steroids may be appropriate.

2nd opinion: Hi,I would go to another neurologist(board certified) for a second opinion. S/he can get the results of the tests performed by the first neurologist so as not to repeat them I say this because the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia is different than the treatment of stress.
