Acid reflux : The balance and noise issues are not related to acid reflux but all the other symptoms are.  See your local ENT and they can check your hearing and sort out all of your problems with the reflux.  Good luck!  feel better!

Yes: Acid reflux can cause pain in throat, neck and ear along with chest burning in center of your chest.  If ant- acids do not resolve issue in a week or two, you need to see an ENT to get  a scope to look down at the inside of your throat, because it could be something else.

Accepted Answer

Rare: but reported side effect. Try taking with food. If you are taking with your thyroxine on an empty stomach that may be part of the problem. You may need to discontinue but I would discuss with your doctor and see what they advise before making any changes.

Reflux: A sore throat can be the result of acid reflux. An earache form eustachian tube dysfunction (the tube from the ear to nose) as a result of reflux is more common in children. Is should also be understood that more commonly sore throats and/or earaches are not related to reflux at all.

Yes it can!: As the acidic contents of your stomach rises to the back of your throat it can irritate those areas. Also, your brain "refers" pain from the back of your throat to your ears. That's the reason.

Time to see doc : Whenever experiencing protracted symptoms not explainable otherwise, an exam with detailed history and possibly tests will be needed. Best will to start with your doc, reflux is not likely to cause your symptoms, too many possibilities otherwise, somatic and/or mental.

Re-evaluate: Tingling, heat, and dizziness are all possible symptoms of low blood sugar and low blood pressure. Aldactone (spironolactone) that you are using as an anti-andorgen could be contributing to these symptoms. Eating 6 equal small meals, staying hydrated, movement through the day, and a good night sleep might help.

can i take baking soda or apple cider vinegar for acid reflux?

Ear pain concerning: If you are congested, you may breathe through your mouth at night which makes sore throat worse.  Although acid reflux can lead to some similar symptoms, it does not usually cause ear pain in this way.  Recommend you see your doc so that an exam can be performed; treatment may be recommended, and the sooner the better.
