Sometimes: Sinusitus is an encompassing term that just states inflammation of the sinus, which can be due to allergy, infection or an autoimmune issue. It is possible if you have sinusitis due to a viral infection, which in turn causes "clogging" of your sinuses, which  can get super infected with bacteria.

Proper ID: Bacterial sinusitis can last longer than three weeks. It is important to monitor for improvement or not once an antibiotic has been started. Failure to improve may indicate resistance to the choice of antibiotic selected or there may be more then 1 bacteria present or fungi may also be present; requiring an antibiotic with an anti fungal agent.  Knowing bugs and drugs is important for proper Tx.

Possible: Sinusitis can be associated with a slightly bloody nasal discharge. However if the blood is coming from the chest, you will need to see a doctor immediately. A common cause for coughing up blood in your area may be TB .

Many different ones: Acute sinusitis is usually caused by some bacteria and chronic sinusitis is often cause by different ones.  Oftentimes the infection may have more than one bacteria.  The exact bacteria isn't generally important in acute sinusitis, as they usually respond well to typical antibiotics.  If you have chronic sinusitis your ENT may recommend a culture of your nose to further investigate things.

Sometimes: Acute sinusitis can be caused by bacteria but more often by viruses. In fact, this is why antibiotics are not usually recommended, unless symptoms do not improve or worsen after a week or more.  If symptoms improve within a week, it is not likely to be bacterial.  Of course, treat your symptoms by rinsing nose with saline, taking a pain reliever and decongestant spray as appropriate.

Not really: get a repeat urine analysisi, culture and kidney function studies. You may need a 24 hour urine  analysisi and/or a reanl ultrasound if symtoms persisit.

Possible: Although acute sinusitis is often associated with a thick discolored nasal discharge, one may have sinusitis without any discharge at all. The mucus is mostly the body's way to fight against the infection and thus in the case of sinusitis would not spread to other parts of the body. One may need an antibiotic if the problem persists for more than a week or gets worse.

Sinus: many types work. Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is the upgrade of amoxicillin. If it's a virus then no antibiotics

Seems unlikely: It does not seem likely that having an abortion would have significantly impacted your chronic sinusitis. Pregnancy can worsen sinus problems due to hormonal changes in the mucosal tissue. Seek treatment for the sinusitis.

what can cause post-nasal drip with blood? i think i have an infection or allergy or sinusitis- green mucus and post nasal drip with clogged up nose and recent cough. in fact, since i can remember i have had a stuffy nose with plenty of mucus in my nose.

Acute : Acute sinusitis is characterized by increase mucous (often colored), sinus pain/pressure, nasal congestion/clogging), cough, nose bleeds (epistaxis), minimal if any fever.  It most often goea away on its own but antibioticas can help if the symptoms persist longer than 10-14 days without improvment.  Nose bleeds this time of year are very common as the air in our homes is very dry due to our heating systems.  It would be important to moisten the nose with saline sprays multiple (3-4) times a day.  That will moisten the lining to help healing and loosen the secretions for easier clearing.

I would recomment finding a primary care doctor to help sort out some of your health issues and help avoid the inconvenience and expense of the er for these nonemercencies.
