Hammered toe: Is the corn/callous on sole of foot under the 4th metatarsal? Iff so then you probally have a hammered toe of the 4th toe and the 4th metatarsal is plantarflexed causing the callous under the 4th met. you can have the corn and callous debrided or have surgery to correct problem. also wear pads.

Corns: Corns are essentially focal areas of  dry, thick, calloused skin.  Otc corn pads use salicylic acid to dissolve them away.  Also use of a foot file or pumice stone can help mechanically remove them.  May want to see your doctor to make sure they are not plantar warts--they can resemble a corn.

Flats: Seriously, shoes that rub your toes aren't helping you. Stay away from corn removal products. They contain salicylic acid and can lead to nasty chemical burns. If moisturizing with hand lotion and avoiding further shoe pressure doesn't resolve the issue, a podiatrist can quickly and painlessly trim away the hard skin.

You can file them: With an emory board. The cause however, is usually prominent bones under the skin. A podiatrist can shave those bones and make them smooth again so that the problem should not occur even if you were to wear a shoe that was somewhat tight.

Corn pad: You may apply a corn pad, available over the counter,  to the site to prevent friction.
You may also use sallicylic acid cream to soften the lesion and scrap the excess tissue.

Shoes!: Never walk around barefooted or with slippers.  You need arch support and likely inserts for your other shoes that are good for plantar fasciitis.

Plantar fascitis: Pain on startup that eases somewhat then gets worse as the day progresses. Perform daily achilles stretches with at least 30 second hold. Wear shoes with adequate support and some cushion in heel or buy off the shelf inserts. Roll the bottom of your foot with a soup can or similar object twice a day for a minute or two. See an ortho surgeon if there is no improvement after a few weeks.
