No: Topical Hydrocortisone cream is unlikely to have any benefit on a bartholin's cyst. Try warm compresses or baths. If the cyst gets larger or more painful with any signs of infection, go see your gynecologist as it may require antibiotics or incision and drainage.

Make an appointment: If it doesn't go away on its own, the best thing to do is make an appointment to see an Ob/Gyn.  They can do an exam and tell you what is is and what to do about it.  This is a pretty common reason for making an appointment.  Best wishes!

: Try to apply warm compresses (washcloth with very warm or hot water,but not so hot to burn) several times/day. Don’t squeeze/pop it. The compresses may lessen the discomfort and may allow it to safely drain.If you have a fever, redness extending from the area, or it’s getting larger or not improving, please see your doctor. You may need to have it professionally drained and may need an antibiotic.
