children up to 4 years old we have to give 10 g of vitamin d3 daily, but we still give this to our 5 year old son every day. could this have adverse effects? could we better stop to give it? we also give him vitamin c supplement daily, is this ok?

: Vitamin C &amp; D are often added or already present in food in our regular diet (i.e. cereal, milk, orange juice). The Vitamin D recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for children 4-8 years old is 600 IU/day (15µg). The upper limit is 3000 IU/day. For Vitamin C the RDA is 25 mg/day, the upper limit is 650 mg/day.

Need to monitor: Although that is actually not an uncommon formulation to find OTC for calcium supplements there is a theoretical risk of becoming hypercalcemic.  If not for the Vitamin D component (which is extremely low and probably won't do much to an individual's total serum levels) but for the calcium component which can become excessive with time. Talk to your doctor for occasional blood testing schedule.

Most adults need 5-8000 iu a day of vit d3 during fall ; winter months but can get enough d from exposure to mid-day sun in spring ; summer- but take year-round if you don't use sunscreen or get much sun. Stop taking Vit. D!: Levels this high do not occur unless one is taking very high doses of vit. D. Of interest, while levels above 100 are considered toxic, there are generally no symptoms of toxicity unless 200 or higher. Your normal calcium suggests this is not a big problem. Depends: For a male your age to have osteoporosis, there is likely to be more factors involved. 
Consider and test for copper deficiency. Also take magnesium daily, vitamin K2 daily, and some vitamin A occasionally. Strontium can also be useful, as well as boron.
Avoid drinking coca cola or pepsi, as these damage your bones mineral balance.

Gummy pills : If calcium and vitamin is truly needed and can't be obtained from diet alone, the gummies should be as effective as the other types. A follow-up blood test can better answer the question.
