Gas bubble?: A gas bubble that lasts that long could have been placed at the tind of retinal surfery.  If you have not had retinal surgery, then you should see your eye doctor as soon as possible.

No: Intestinal gas has no relation to pain behind the eyes. If you are having frequent headaches.. It could be 1) migraine headaches 2) tension headaches, or 3) sinus headaches - best to be checked.

Infection: Conjunctivitis can be bacterial, viral, chemical or allergic. Bullous lesions develop on the conjunctiva because of edema and inflammation. 70 percent of conjunctivitis is viral secondary to adenovirus. Given response to sulfacetamide in a day that is more indicative of bacterial infection. Continue the drops.

Your : Your husband needs to go to the emergency room asap. It appears he has a severe infection from a tooth which has not spread into the soft tissues of his face.

This will not go away by itself. The infection needs to be brought under control with antibiotics and possibly and incision and drainage. Failure to treat will allow the infection to spread further, possibly turning a simple dental problem into a life threatening situation.

Please have him get treatment now.

Gas: The fumes from the gasoline may trigger an allergic response.  This in turn can cause eye itching.  Try some artificial tears if the itching persists.  If this is not effective, call your local ophthalmologist.

Local health dept: You can contact the local county health department to find out if there are any available local eye clinics which will provide free eye exams.
