Eustachian tube : Eustachian tube dysfunction can cause for clicking. This can be from fluid or sometimes there can be muscle spasm at the top of the palate that can cause this.

i get a whooshing sound in my right ear and rt side of head feels tight. also pain in forehead like sinus. been v anxious for 7 months. anxiety ?

However, if you have been suffering from anxiety for 7 months, you should be getting treatment for anxiety.  Get a medical workup to rule out medical conditions, and see a mental health professional for help with anxiety.

Jaw back: Go to your dentist and have him rule out temporomandibular disease which due to lower jaw to far back can affect the ear. Research an article by dr. Costen from 1924 that discusses correction of jaw overclosure.

Look into: You should have your blood pressure checked. The elevated pressure can cause headaches as well as a pulsating sound in the ears.

Migraines: IIH may be red herring and  symptoms are more indicative of migraines. Try prophylactic treatment for migraines. Discuss with your neurologist.

Possible TMJ: Since the pain is near your ear, which is also where your TMJ is, you may be experiencing TMJ dysfunction. A full exam by a dentist with tmd expertise would give you some answers. Not all dentists are experienced in this area so seek out the right dentist. Another possibility would be to see and ent. Depending on what other symptoms you have, the dentist would probably be the first choice.
