i have gerd and sometimes it causes me to burp up stomach acid and triggers vomiting. it also happens with liquids. it feels like it comes back and as i get in the position to puke it all comes up. what can i do to manage the nausea?

: It appears that your GERD is not under control &amp; you probably have a lax esophageal sphincter. Avoid.not only spicy foods but also oily foods which delay stomach emptying and opens the sphincter as well. I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for full evaluation and appropriate treatment.

after eating i have constantly been struggling with becoming physically ill, it starts with hiccups which leads to heart burn, and burping up stomach acid and food. this also leads me to have stomach pains and a head ache, i have lost my appetite.

Not necessarily.: Possible early pregnancy sxs: no period, breast swelling ; tenderness w darkened areolas, thin, white ; milky vaginal discharge, fatigue, ^ urination frequency, constipation, bloating, heartburn, backache, cramping, headache, food cravings or aversions, ^ sense of smell, enlarged waist, feeling faint/dizzy, mood swings, ^ gas, insomnia, gagging ; yawning. They may begin after missed period.

Gerds: You have have severe acid reflux, try over the counter acid reducers and go see your primary care doctor and gastroenterologist. Aspiration pneumonia usually has other symptoms like fever, cough, shortness of breath. It can be treated with antibiotics.

you might have hiatal hernia which will make the stomach slide up in your chest and allow the acid to burn the lining of the food tube
it can be worst if you gained weight and specific food and tight cloth and laying flat and eating late before you go to bed will make the reflux worst
you need to see your doctor.

Can't burp: Fundoplication provides a barrier to GERD, but also to vomiting &amp; burping since the lower esophageal sphincter no longer relaxes to let air (or other stomach contents) escape upward from your stomach. Air then accumulates in stomach, resulting in gas &amp; bloating until it can be evacuated into the small bowel. May also see w/achalasia, food impaction, gastroparesis, obstructing tumor, more.
