Possible UTI: You may have urinary tract infection or maybe an irritation from the exam. If you are urinating frequently and having urgency then probable UTI. If burning on outside skin, then maybe some kind of skin irritation. You need to have urine analysis or be seen by Doctor.

Vag dilatation: Dyspareunia or painful intercourse might be incomplete dilatation of the vagina causing neurological pressure, infection which has been ruled out here and dryness of vagina.  In latter instance surub should be u to minimize friction and if needed vaginal dilatation to minimize severe pressure on penile entry. Emotional problems may also  add to symptoms.

Testing: Vaginal discharge has a variety of causes. Testing is needed to determine the cause and treatment. Yeast and bacterial vaginosis are the most common causes. STDs like gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis are other causes. When  you schedule your visit you can ask questions about your abnormal pap and ask if a Colposcopy needs to be done based on the results.

Latex & itchy bottom: If your symptoms are related to latex exposure you probably have a contact dermatitis rather than ige mediated latex allergy. Generally these reactions last 10-14 days. Topical steroids can be of some help, but need to be used with caution in the vulvar ares. Oral steroids are helpful early on to shorten course, but do have systemic risks. Antihistamines minimally help the itch. See allergist.

hello, i used jet spray water of a handheld bidet sprayer outside vagina (btw labia minors) after peeing an hour before my pap smear cotest , my result was normal, that jet spray of water interfered my results?

: No, the test gathers cells from the outer surface of the cervix. That structure is contained inside &amp; distant from the labia. It gently removes them from a sweeping motion over the structure, &amp; sends those cells to the lab for study. Your shower would not reach or interfere with the area involved. The re-wording of your question does not change the answer.

can hpv be tested through a urine swab? got an std testing done and it came back with hpv but they didnt saw my area just my pee they said they did pcr test, so i went to my ogbyn said she couldnt do a pap smear until i am 21, i am 20 right now?

: Urine or urine swab is not appropriate for HPV testing. The only HPV testing that normally is recommended is from the cervix in combination with (or in place of) a Pap smear. Current guidelines in the US advise no pap (or HPV test) before age 21. If you're having no symptoms, no need to test now. If sexually active, you may have HPV, but this is normal and usually harmless. Get vaccinated!

Possibly gloves, etc: It might be from irritation from gloves if it is just after the smear, or it can be from a hard sweep by the speculum.  It can be from infection, like UTI or cystitis.  If you had colposcopy, it might be from the Acetic Acid used to destinguish areas to by biopsied, etc..  I would say that if it persists, see your doctor for work-up.

Different aims: Pap smears are intended primarily to look for cancer and precancer in the cervix. They are amazingly accurate despite the difficulty of doing the test. Urinalysis screens for various chemical abnormalities and if the sediment is examined for formed elements as well. There are some situations in which collection problems or interfering substances prevent the test from being accurate but it's good.

Infection: symptoms of a UTI would be burning on urination, lower abdominal pain or fullness, urinary frequency, back or flank pain and fever.
