Scoliosis definitely: Can lead to back pain. I do not associate a burning sensation as part of the process.

Needs to be watched: In your age group, the most common causes are musculoskeletal problems that usually self-resolve. Esophageal spasm can cause deep middle pain. Acid reflux is also a possibility despite taking tums (calcium carbonate). Young women who are smokers and are taking oral contraceptive pills are at risk for lung blood clot that can cause chest pain. Heart issues need always to be ruled out but are unlikely at your age.

Could be a disc: Burning in the back associated with leg symptoms is suggestive of nerve compression in the spine. Based upon your age this is most likely due to a disc bulge.  Most disc bulges occur in the lower lumbar spine, but they can also occur higher up.  See an orthopedic spine surgeon or neurosurgeon for an exam, and possibly an MRI.

@ 38, U need to--: -be evaluated by a specialist such as neurology to find out if it is from your neck, it does sound like that to me. Turning your head to the R, should not cause shoulder pain, but cervical pathology can.

what is  the possible causes for a severe burning sensation on the upper back and neck followed by a bumpy rash?

Shingles: There is a good possibility,,with that history than you have Herpes Zoster or "Shingles"  This is due to re-activation of the Chicken Pox virus in a nerve (nerves) where it causes a tiny chicken pox like "bump" in the skin at the end of the nerve.
There is medication for this disorder even after the rash breaks out so contact your Primary Care Physician for advice.

Need more info: There may be something that is causing nerve irritation. That could be caused by improper posture, trauma (tight shoe?) jogging or running, lifting something heavy. The complaint is so diffuse that I would suggest that you make an appt with your primary care physician.

Anxiety: There are excellent treatments for anxiety including some lifestyle interventions and meditation. Drugs such as lexapro and cymbalta (duloxetine) may also be useful. Get help. Best of luck to you.

Pinched nerve.: You may have cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve) or myofasciatis. This could be related to a disk abnormality in the spine.

Pinched nerves: What you describe sounds like it could be pinched nerves originating in your lower neck.  See your doctor for an evaluation.
