Ben gay: You can try over the counter anti-inflammatory or ben-gay. You can also try ibuprofen. A heat compress helps some as well. See your physician if you have further problems.

A detailed exam and appropriate studies would likely reveal the problem and based upon that appropriate alternatives discussed.

@ 38, U need to--: -be evaluated by a specialist such as neurology to find out if it is from your neck, it does sound like that to me. Turning your head to the R, should not cause shoulder pain, but cervical pathology can.
