i have had a itchy burning rash underneath where my skin hangs down on my stomach. what should i use to treat this rash.?

Candida : This sounds like a fungus infection known as candida. Keep the area moisture free as possible. After bathing, dry completely and use baby powder. You may need an antifungal cream like lotrimin (clotrimazole).

the skin on my stomach in a spot about silver dollar follows around my side as wide its only skin no deeper no pain just burning when skins touched in this area any ideas? no rash or sign of irratation either... go to dr. or give a a few days ?

: Observe for now, if rash occurs on that area, shingles should be ruled out by your doctor, especially you did not have chicken pox vaccination in childhood.

me & my fianc are experiencing a red burning itchy scaling rash. me on my butt & in the lining of the cheeks. him on his inner thighs & stomach?

Contact allergy?: May be a contact allergy that could be cause by laundry soap or other additive if you both use the same washing machine for clothes and sheets. Could possibly be bed bugs as well. Best to have your primary care examine the rash, and may need referral to a dermatologist. In the mean time, try to figure out what common environmental exposure you both have, and do some trial and error changes.

hello. when i take the metoprolol succinate 25mg tab, around 5-7 hours later the skin on my back and stomach feels like its burning or itchy (i dont scratch) but there is no rash. is this common or cause for concern? thank you?

: Just about any drug can cause itching or pruritus. The best way to see if the metoprolol is doing this to you is to stop it and see what happens.

For common rashes such as eczema, mild reactions to plants or chemicals, excessive dryness, or little itchy bumps, over-the-counter Hydrocortisone 1% cream for 1 week, usually helps. A doctor can help figure out the cause, look for internal disorders, and decide if Claritin (loratadine) or zyrtec would help.

Try Levocetirizine: It is called Hipersensivity tipe 02 reaction; that could actually be totally and completelly dissapear with levocetirizine of 5 mgs; BId for 5 days!! Plenty sure of it!!

? Sjogrens: Your symptoms can be seen in primary or secondary Sjogren's syndrome as many of these patients have skin manifestations along with dry eyes and mouth amongst other symptoms.  I recommend consulting a rheumatologist for evaluation, testing.and advice.
