Yes: Yes this can happen but go back to see your doctor because there other diseases that can cause these symptoms.

Accepted Answer

Urethritis?: These symptoms do not suggest HIV at all. However, burning on urination could be due to an STD involving the urethra, such as chlamydia, nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), or (less likely) gonorrhea. Since you're concerned about HIV, my guess is you're at risk for other STDs as well. So see a doctor soon:  it may be nothing important, but better safe than sorry! Good luck.

i'm 37 weeks 3 days pregnant. since yesterday i'm getting burning sensation  in my palms and feet. no swelling at all.  could the reason?

Probably circulation: without an exam, I can only give general information, AND, the amazing thing is that this is NEW !
1 in five women have this beginning in teens (Raynaud's) and some others have it in pregnancy due to increased circulatory volume and vasodilation. None of these start in 3rd trimester!

Several possible: Answers might include peripheral neuropathy, a rheumatological condition, perhaps raynaud's, rarely, a giant cell arteritis, perhaps diabetes.  So, best you see a doctor, get some blood studies, and perhaps symptomatic intervention.

Itching in pregnancy: thre are several causes for itching during pregnancy - and it sommonly affects the palms and soles. it's normal, but annoying. Try moisturizing lotion, and oatmeal baths. Avoid heat and hot baths.

Neuropathy: I would recommend you see a neurologist to help pin point possible location of nerve compression. Alternatively, neuropathy has other etiologies and so it may be occurring secondarily to a nutritional deficiency or systemic disease. Since, it appears to occur under certain movements it is likely a nerve compression.

B vitamin: B vitamin deficiency can cause neuropathy, more associated with b6 than b12.

Hand/foot pain: There are many dermatologic conditions that could be affecting both your plams and soles of your feet.  If the burning and itching is affecting your daily life, try taking an oral anti-histamine and seeing your pcp/dermatologist/podiatrist.
