from my file can you tell why i have blisters on the sides of inside my mouth. not painful. never had them before. did not burn mouth or bite.

Blistering mouth disease is usually self limiting, but could also be the herald sign of a systemic disease process.

Mouth sores: Certain medications, for example methotrexate, can cause canker sores as well as deficiencies in some b vitamins (1, 2, 6, and 12), iron, folic acid, and zinc. However, irritation, injury, or infection of any of the tissues in the oral cavity can also lead to mouth sores. Sores in the mouth can occur with certain systemic disease like crohns, behcets, or lupus or viral infections. See doctor.

can lime juice burn the mouth? is it good for a sore mouth?

Lime juice...: The citric acid in lime juice can sting or burn if you have an open wound in your mouth such as an ulcer or any tear in the mucous membrane which lines your mouth. I wouldn't suggest using it for a sore mouth. It probably wouldn't do any real damage, but it would likely be uncomfortable for awhile.

No: A second degree burn by definition should not leave a scar.  That said, keep moisturizers on the area for at least 3 months and no sun exposure to the area.

Drilling: On tooth enamel or dental materials sometimes elicits what patients refer to as a &#x27;burning smell&#x27; when there are not copious amounts of water used. Some patients are more sensitive to this than others. Any other specific questions should be addressed to the dentist who actually treated you.

U R @ risk for STD: Wound or no woulds in the buccal mucosa; you are always at risk for std's; especially in today's promiscuous environment.

The only way to ensure this would not happen is to have a very longterm relationship with an honorable partner who has been repeatedly tested negative; and whom you know is otherwise non-promiscuous by history.  Although socially unpopular, best health is provided by celebacy.

No: Your dentist may have not used enough cooling irrigation during the grinding.  You need to discuss this with your dentist.

Oral diagnosis: Oral diagnosis really requires a good exam, so can't really  tell you much other than you need to see a dentist, ENT surgeon, or oral surgeon to help.

: If you can swallow your own spit &amp; drink water without pain this should self heal. It may give discomfort for a while but will pass in a few days. If you cannot swallow water without choking and spitting up, go get evaluated.
