Not sure of question: Bupropion is used to treat depression & nicotine dependence.  Works by increasing norepinephrine & dopamine.  Because it is activating it is useful for patients with lethargic depression.  Bupropion is not associated with weight gain or sexual problems.  Overdoses are associated with an increased risk of seizures, changes in heart rate, fever, and breathing.  Overdoses may cause coma & death.

Tx will vary: If recent, pumping the stomach or with certain medications. Also treating symptoms occurring as a result of the overdose (iv fluids, medications to control an irregular heart rhythm or seizures, breathing tube to help breathing, closely monitor heart and lungs). If an overdose occurs, intentional or accidental, call your doctor or 911. May also contact the poison control center 1-800-222-1222.

Might not like this: Response but tanning is not healthy whether you are taking wellbutrin (bupropion) or not. There is no special issue about sun exposure on wellbutrin (bupropion).

Well......: Officially you should not, however the mechanism with which wellbutrin (bupropion) sr provides sustained release would be maintained if it is halved without crushing. This is not the case with wellbutrin (bupropion) xl, it can not be divided.

Not really but ..: Either one taken alone can cause agitation, anxiety, nausea and other symptoms. So if you are depressed and taking wellbutrin (bupropion) weed is not something you want to add. Weed can cause cognitive impairment, mood changes like depression or even psychosis.

Potential death: The maximum daily dose for Wellbutrin (bupropion) is 450 mg. Taking doses greater than 450 mg a day may increase the risk of serious side effects, including seizures and death. Ask your PCP for help and referral to a psychiatrist.
