Erythema Toxicum: Nothing to worry about.  "e. Tox" is a very common benign newborn rash.  Leave it alone and it will go away on its own.

Hives? (see picture): Sounds like hives. Most common cause is infection (often very minor in nature) resulting in activation of innate immune/autoimmune pathways in skin that trigger mast cells. Heat bumps: Heat bumps only occur when you are hot and sweating, they may last more than a day in one spot. Hives are fleeting and have different triggers and heat is just one trigger. Have your lesions examined by an allergist to determine which is which and how to treat your symptoms. Both can occur anywhere on your skin.

Most itchy bumps are red in color.  Are they spreading?  Are there red streaks or any swelling?  Do the bumps look like they have fluid inside or not?  Clarify for us and the answers will come.

Itchy rash eval: A new onset itchy rash can be due to many things.  If simple changes to your personal care products and environment don't help you should see an allergist of dermatologist.  The rash could represent benign urticaria or hives or could be due to an allergic contact dermatitis or drug reaction.  Check with your primary care doctor about any medications and supplements you may be taking.
