Pus: Is it actually pus or more of a clear yellow fluid?  This may well be worth a visit to a dermatologist.

Get seen: This could be serious, any of several of the blistering skin diseases. If you are taking any medications you don't really need, discontinue them.

HIV: Sounds like you're having some pretty common health annoyances &amp; are worried they're due to HIV. First, the chance of of getting HIV from 1 encounter is very low (1 in 1250 exposures for vaginal penetration). The oral HIV tests are pretty accurate (about 92%) but to be extra sure and give you peace of mind, call your gyn or PCP to get a blood test. It's quick and confidential. Good luck!

Be seen: Please see your doctor as the area may be minimally infected with the swelling--is there any redness or warmth there too?  Your doctor can evaluate this very easily.  Do not take chances.

Contact : Most hand dermatitis is caused by irritating (too much hand washing , caustic solution) or contact dermatitis (from rubber or scented soap etc). The best approach is avoidance of the triggers.    Perhaps if your hands do come into contact with water often, wearing non-latex gloves whenever possible may be one solution.

Probably bedbugs: If you stayed in a hotel recently, good chance you picked it up there.  If you look carefully, you can usually see them.  They are tough to get rid of.  Get professional exterminator.

i had sty in right eye wied stye out and put hand sanitizer in it even tryed to pop it and its been longer then a month and the and the bump small still ther don't hurt but still there why is bump still there and why wont go away it was a stye.

The : The worst thing you could do is put a hand sanitizer near your eye, as well as try and "pop" the stye.  For proper treatment of chronic/recurrent styes, you need to see your eye care professional.

Irritant: This is from an irritant reaction because of the alcohol. You may try a hand sanitizer (with a moisturizer)without alcohol or the regular one with a moisturizer and see whether you can tolerate either.

Dyshidrosis : There could be many causes for this from an infection from a bacteria or fungus to a condidion called dyshidrosis where we get tender sometimes itchy bumps on the sides of the fingers and the palms.  You would need to have it checked by your dermatologist.
