It could be...: Athlete's foot. The best otc medication (in my opinion) is lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra. Dilute vinegar soaks are good as well.  Dry the inside of your shoes by placing them up-side down over an air return vent at home overnight. If this doesn't make things better in a couple days, see a podiatrist.

Ganglion cyst: It really depends on where the bump is and how it looks clinically. Bunions can give you a lump off the big toe. Ganglion cyst can also form a bump that comes off the joint. The only way to really diagnosis it is to take a look at it so you might want to ask your doctor. You are pretty young for it to be a bunion so i suspect it is a ganglion cyst.

: I assume there has been no injury. You don't mention how long the bump has been present. It could be an irritated chronic bunion,skin or nail infection.  Apply hot compresses intermittently,, wear noncompressing shoes and white cotton socks. See a physician or a podiatrist if not improving.

Depends: Well, it really depends on what it is!  if it's a wart, then there are ways to get rid of them - if its an infection, then you might be need treatment for that (if it's painful or getting bigger, i would get it checked out).  If it's been there for a very very long time, maybe its just a "cherry angioma" which is totally not harmful.  If its new and causing concern, get it checked!

See below: Without looking at it or having a photo, it is likely either a fungal infection or warts.  You should see your doctor (primary doctor is sufficient) to have it checked out.

i had a bump on my left big toe that has now changed into a bunch of little tubes coming out of it, before the tubes came, i thought i could just take it off with nail clippers like with callus, but it bled a lot. i don't know what it is. help?
