hello, i have had a hard, white bump behind my bottom front teeth for a month now. it does not hurt. there is also a very small one on the other side of my bottom teeth.

Bumps: You may have mandibular tori, small benign growths of bone.  Next time you see your Dentist for a regular check-up ask him/her to take a look and establish a base line.  That way if they continue to enlarge over the years you can be advised if treatment is indicated.  For most people no treatment is required.

Mother nature has put a extra pad of tissue over the hole to make it end up looking like a bump, which it is but not a bad bump.  In your case you may have bruised, cut or who knows what, but i suggest you give it a couple weeks, before pursuing dr.

Yes: Typically we call this a pizza burn type of injury.  But it can be cause by anything from a potato chip to hot coffee.  It should go away in 7-10 days.  If not it should be evaluated by a dentist.
