Maybe lymph node: A painful bump in the groin area may be an inflamed lymph node, inflammation of the tymph nodes can be from infection, malignancy etc..., if this persist, see your doctor for evaluation.

i am experiencing  vaginal itching and bumps on my groin area around my vagina.  have a uti but the bumps are like acne?

Vulva bumps: The  vagina is on the inside, and outside is the vulva, which has hair and can have inflammation and itching from soaps, lotions and sweating and wearing certain kinds of undies and moisturizers  Wash the outside with head and shoulders, rinse well with water, dry well, and use a tiny bit of hydrocortisone cream 1%.  and nothing else. Wear only cotton under  wear.  If not better go to a doctor

Prickly heat: Prickly heat from the sweating and blockage of sweat glands is a more likely explanation. It may help if you would use different attire that allows air circulation better that spandex does. If you have multiple sex partners, you may wish to see a doctor to get tested for STDs.

? Infection: of hair follicles, or fungal infection, keep the area clean and dry, avoid tight clothing/underwear, try OTC antibiotic cream, unless allergic to it , if fungal infection, OTC antifungal cream can help too, if no improvement in few days, please see your doctor for proper management
