I cannot see your: pics but large blisters can be caused by many things including bites, allergic reactions, infection, blistering disorders. I recommend if you aren't clearing in the next week, or if it is getting bigger or more painful, you should see a board certified dermatologist

Hydrocortisone: You can use Hydrocortisone to reduce the inflammation and itching. Keep the wound clean so it doesn't become infected. See your doctor if you don't get better.

concerned about red patch on 1 breast. it's 1.5" x 1". i'm nursing so assumed plugged duct. went to obgyn and she said it looks like a bug bite, but i'm concerned about ibc. the center of the area had a tiny blister initially. it has scabbed (day 3).

Recommendation: You have to take care of this spot with alcohol or iodine to prevent spreading. But wash out before nursing. Plugged duct usually cause pain, fever, even chills and big spot of erythema/redness. Most likely your doctor was right if you do not have these symptoms.

Almost any kind.: Virtually any sort of bug bite can cause blistering. I generally don't recommend popping these blisters unless they are painful, because of the risk of infection. If it's not bothering you, cover it with a bandaid. If it itches, apply Hydrocortisone cream 2-3 times a day. If it gets painful or tender, or develops a red ring around it, see your doctor or a dermatologist.

Some thoughts...: A bug bite is usually ok if it looks like a typical small (1/4 to 1 inch wide) mosquito or flea bite.  If there is a lot of swelling, a doctor should check to see if it is just an allergic reaction or is actually infected.  If the bite area has stuff oozing out of it, or if the area is painful, one should see a doctor to examine for infection. If spots are purple, they could be blood spots.

Get it checked out: i would recommend getting it checked out by your doctor or a walk-in clinic/ER - first thing tomorrow....could be an early infection that should be seen and treated quickly

If there is a lot of swelling, a doctor should check to see if it is just an allergic reaction or is actually infected.  If the bite area has stuff oozing out of it, or if the area is painful, one should see a doctor to examine for infection. If no doctor available, the ER can help.

Needs to see doctor: It sounds like she may have been bit by a brown recluse spider and needs to be seen asap.
