Concerned about red patch on 1 breast. it's 1.5" x 1". i'm nursing so assumed plugged duct. went to obgyn and she said it looks like a bug bite, but i'm concerned about ibc. the center of the area had a tiny blister initially. it has scabbed (day 3).

Recommendation: You have to take care of this spot with alcohol or iodine to prevent spreading. But wash out before nursing. Plugged duct usually cause pain, fever, even chills and big spot of erythema/redness. Most likely your doctor was right if you do not have these symptoms.
