Insect bite: Your bite may have been caused by one of the venomous insects like a bee, wasp or hornet.. Apply cold compresses to reduce swelling and then apply half percent hydrocortisone

bug bite that started out small on monday. today it is much larger has white pus in the middle and red ring around it. it hurts when touched.

Infected Bite: the area is now infected.  Don't pop the area of pus.  Take him in to be seen today so treatment can be started for Cellulitus and possibly an abscess.

Could be developing: Brown Recluse Spider bite. Toxin causes tissue death and open ulcer formation which is at risk for secondary skin infection. You should go see your doc,if not improving or keeps getting worse. Take daily pictures ,in good light ,to judge progress.

Infected Insect Bite: You most likely have an infected insect bit reaction. You will need to be treated with oral antibiotics and topical and or oral prednisone.

i have what looks like a bug bite on my forearm but also a huge bruise with it? why would i have a huge bruise with it? it doesn't hurt when touched.

Hemorrhage: occasionally the bug venom causes leakage of blood from the blood vessels,resulting in the bruise

Are you sure?: How do you know it is a "bug bite"? Best treatment is determined by a more precise definition of what is there. If it is from an insect, which insect?

Need to be seen: And examined, unfortunately, without at least visual inspection, we can't really help, could be very well an infected area and needs prescription medications, please see your doctor

Yes: Your inflammatory cells come in to take care of the bite and this causes swelling and warmth.  This should subside in a day or two --if not i would be concerned about an infection--see your family doc.
