Are you sure?: How do you know it is a "bug bite"? Best treatment is determined by a more precise definition of what is there. If it is from an insect, which insect?

Cold compresses: would help, and OTC anti-itch cream (hydrocortisone 1%) if that doesn't work you need to see your doctor
