Yes, with caution: Airplane travel with a buckle fracture poses no increased risk of injury from the flight itself.  Until her bones are completely healed, she is at risk for further injury or progression of the fracture if she sustains another trauma, such as being hit with a suitcase or bumped in the leg by another person.

Usually not bad: The term buckle describes a break in that forearm bone that is impacted (jammed together) and usually not moved much. They generally do well with a cast or splint. In a growing child there can be other issues. If there is angulation (bending) it may need setting (manipulation). See an orthopedic surgeon or hand specialist.

Yes it does, a ---: - buckle is seen in the cortex of the bone, hence the name. Usually in youth,in younger years. They may be very subtle though. If suspected a cast 2 protect it &amp; films in 2 weeks, and then there will be evidence of healing callous present. @ 40 years it's unlikely, you would be more sustable to have a stress fracture. These develop slowly, so if this is an acute injury see an orthopedic surgeon.

Minor fracture: Most don't realize it but these bones are tubular. With trauma, the bone can dent like a beer can. They can hurt but   don't cause instability like a traditional fx. The dent or buckle heals without weakening the bone.

Conservative : I'm assuming you are asking about a child's finger. The younger the patient, the faster it will heal. 4 weeks is usually sufficient. However, an additional 3 weeks of buddy taping and perhaps sports avoidance is not unreasonable...Although a bit conservative. If this advice was from an orthopedic surgeon, then i would suggest following these recommendations.

i have fractures of the bilateral superior pubic rami rt comminuted & mildly displaced. fracture rt inferior pubic ramus. also a buckle fracture of the anterior aspect lf sacrum. stable or not stable?

Stable: What you have described sounds like a stable fracture, but you really need to see a physician for evaluation and close follow-up to confirm whether the fractures are stable or not.  Having multiple fractures as you have described is certainly going to be painful, but pain does not necessarily mean instability.
