i have small amount of bubbles in pee, i had a pee test but drank a lot of water before it and they said it was clean, kidney function checked 6 months ago, am i likely okay? i have health anxiety pretty badly. worried about kidney disease?

See answer: Bubbles in urine may not indicate anything important. Sometimes it may indicated excess protein in the urine(proteinuria). If you are concerned have your physician do a dipstick test for protein in the urine. The test may be available OTC. For health anxiety CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy)can be very helpful. Back pain: There are numerous causes of lower back pain. It is difficult to reach a diagnosis without a proper examination of your back and abdomen. The back pain could arise from your kidneys, rib cage, spine or hip and pelvic joints. It could be due to inflammation from an old injury, arthritis or disc pain, hip bursitis, kidney stones - the possibilities are endless. You need to see your doctor

Not likely: You won't get pregnant from sperm in the toilet. You should see a doctor for an evaluation, physical, blood and urine tests. You might have a bladder or yeast infection. If you are not sexually active, you shouldn't worry about pregnancy. If you have been active, &amp; a male didn't ejaculate, there is still a risk for pregnancy. Talk w/ a therapist, nurse, dr. or school counselor if you have fears.

Not a pregnancy sign: "bubbles" or air in your urinary stream has nothing to do with pregnancy.  If you are concerned about pregnancy, then a pregnancy test is extremely reliable.  If there is a change in your urine that is concerning, then get checked by your doctor for a bladder infection.

i am on birth control, i had sex 4 weeks ago and have bubbles in my pee. is that a sign of pregnancy? ive taken pregnancy tests because its been 4 weeks since i had sex and all of them have been negative. should i be concerned?

Re to test: Unless you get a period by then, re do the test in 4-5 days. Urine pregnancy test is most reliable if done 4-5 days after missed period, use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully.

: It is very unlikely there is gas (i.e. bubbles) in his urine, just frothiness as it mixes with toilet water. Which of course is more vigorous, with more bubbles, when gravity contributes more to the force when standing than sitting. Almost certainly nothing is wrong.

last  wk i was treated for uti aslo back in jan i was also treated.i just finish my antibiotic and i still think the infection is there when i pee i see like bubbles and sediment in my pee.i need help?

Need evaluation: These findings are concerning for persistent infection  or  can on occasion suggest a connection between your bladder and your colon.  I recommend you see your pcp or a urologist for evaluation.

Here are some ...: While much about foamy bubbling urine has been discussed &amp; speculated, this phenomenon is not indicative of any specific diseases. Generally, it is okay as long as you're comfortable in voiding, urinalysis is okay, and kidneys are working well as shown on blood tests. So, see and ask Doc timely.
