Unlikely that: cycling alone will produce what you describe!

Do you take Aspirin???

If so stop it!  If not get your blood checked for clotting factors

i have had a large (over 1") purple bruiselike ring on my left hip for over a week that is starting to heal and tonight i now have the same ring bruising on my right lower leg (backside close to knee). i am wondering how concerned i should be about these/

Possibilities.: While the description sounds like a resolving bruise, I wonder why you are bruising if you had no trauma?  It would be good to have a primary care doctor hear your story and possibly order some blood work.  Document the spots, locations and take a clear digital picture of them when they occur to share with the provider.

Hemosiderosis: Hemochromatosis is quite different. These marks are commonly melanin and iron deposits in areas of old injury or areas inflamed by chronic edema. If they have been rubbed or scratched due to prolonged itch, there will be reactive lichenification.

Bruising Below: In pediatric patients of this age group it is very common to see bruising to the anterior legs (shins) and thigh areas.  These are often caused by an active child exploring and playing in their world.  Frequently they trip and fall, run into objects or strike themselves with toys or other objects which result in the bruising.  Most bruises are in various stages of resolution (color) and harmless.

Ecchymoses: These ecchymoses could be due to trauma,  bone marrow and other hematologic disorders and  platelet disorders, liver disease, vit K deficiency, aspirin or Aleve type medication use or an autoimmune vasculitis.  If these bruises continue to appear in the absence of injury, consult a hematologist.

daughter diagnosed with celiac disease 8 weeks ago. now has severe itching on lower legs only at night time. low white blood count and high globulin serum levels. severe weight loss, and bruising  what could cause this?

There is a very: characteristic skin rash that accompanies celiac disease: dermatitis herpetiformis.  Typically this is a skin manifestation of non-celiac wheat sensitivity. Extremely itchy bumps or blisters appear, especially on the forearms.The lab abnormalities you describe are not typical for celiac; in fact serum globulins may be low. I suspect more than one diagnosis; continue working closely with her Doctor

Mottling: Such purplish mottling of the legs in an otherwise youngster most likely is due to some constriction of superficial skin veins and may have to due with some chilling of the skin. If you still have concerns, have his pediatrician check him.

i had spinal fusion l4-5, s-1.6 months ago my lower legs hurt. what can i do?

May still be fusing: You may still be fusing-can take up to a year.  If a smoker, you are negatively affecting outcome.  You may need to be working on core strength & cardiovascular endurance as well as flexibility especially if you have not started physical therapy or did not continue with a home program.  If the symptoms remain in spite of this check with your surgeon to assess your healing status & complaints.

every time i walk or use my feet a lot in one day (like 2 miles worth) i get this pain in my lower legs that radiates up. it feels kind of dull? thats the only way i know how to describe it. im not a couch potato and this has been going on for 3yr?

: There are many causes possible . Top ones ... normal developement . 
See if you can get into physical therapy for a session or two , to have an eval and retraining first.
