From what I have: Read this is not limited to one species. Seek medical care asap if you think a spider bit you ; you have severe pain (can be felt at bite site ; possibly chest, back or abdomen); abdominal cramping /rigidness or ulceration of skin at site. You may need a tetanus shot (if you don't know when your last shot was or it has been &gt; 10 years). Also medical care if you develop signs of secondary infection.

Skin bruised by bite: Yes, very insightful.  The bruising can be caused by a bite...Even a recluse spider bite. These often lead to infection so watch for swelling, redness and pus... And if these occur please get to a health care expert.

Resolving infection: When did you start Doxycycline and how many days ago did you take it?  You may have had a skin infection such as MRSA. There could be residual infection. Elevate, warm compresses and see your physician for consideration for other antibiotic or treatment.

Spider bites?: Unless you saw the spiders in the act - these lesions may not be from spider bites.  Not sure what your question is. If you are worried - would show these lesions to your parents. However, if you remain symptom free- would not fret.

Not spider: Spider bites are rare and are quite different from your description. There are no spiders capable of venomous attack in NY state with rare exceptions. When a spider attacks it is immediately apparent. Unless you saw and felt the bite it was not a spider.

Get checked: May be just as you suspect, but maybe not. Best to get it checked by your MD or Dermatologist. Good Luck.

i have a bruise that covers almost the top part of my foot. when  i realized it right in the center of the bruise was a white like circle and 2 black dots. is it a spider bite?

Yes: You need to be seen by a podiatrist or your pcp.  If this is a bite you could be allergic to the venom and need antibiotics or additional blood work and follow up to prevent loss of skin on dorsum of foot.
