Skin bruised by bite: Yes, very insightful.  The bruising can be caused by a bite...Even a recluse spider bite. These often lead to infection so watch for swelling, redness and pus... And if these occur please get to a health care expert.

Lump: May persist indefinitely as an organized hematoma. Local symptoms should subside completely otherwise in few more days. Current meds may delay and impair healing, for example anticoagulants or steroids.

i had a cerebral angiogram two days ago. now i am experiencing pain, bruising, swelling, and a large hard mass at puncture site. should i be concerned?

Hematoma: See your doctor about this , it sounds like you leaked blood at the puncture site. Usually it gradually goes away but should be checked to be sure nothing worse is going on.

Insect bites: Generally speaking there is no need to see a physician for most insect bites.  However if there is significant pain at the site or if you start experiencing other body aches/muscle spasms, or if the bite itself starts to ooze or if the bruising starts getting really dark then i would definitely get it checked out.

Sinus puncture: This would be unusual treatment for anything, a second opinion is suggested.

Nodule: A painful nodule can be a manifestation of an allergic reaction, infectious disease, hypersensitivity reaction to drugs, and other diseases.  It is important to know where the nodule is, what medications you are on and whether you are having other symptoms such as cough, bowel problems arthritis.  You should see your primary care doctor.  He may refer you to a dermatologist for a biopsy.

No worries: Sorry that you've been waiting for an answer... I would not worry too much about a contusion that is only two days old, unless there is severe pain. Mild swelling, pain, and discoloration associated w/ bruising will subside on it's on w/o complications. At this point, if >2 days, you may wish to use heat, light massage (to dissipate swelling/ discoloration), or a disspersive pad. Hope this help.

Bruises: These may be caused by trivial trauma that you may not have been aware of(from wearing a belt,for example), but minor skin bleeds can also be seen in people who have easy bruiseability or who take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen or Aleve or who are deficient in vitamins like vitamin C. If frequent unexplained bruises appear, it could be a sign of a hematological disorder.

Thin: Thinner skin will bruise more easily. Blood thinners such as Coumadin (warfarin) or Aspirin will contribute. A poor nutritional state will also contribute. Nutritional supplements with bioflavenoids and pycnogenol with help with bruisavility and skin integrity .Protein supplements of Amino Acids amy also be necessary.
