Spider bite?: Depending on where you live, there are some spiders that can cause skin to be damaged (i.e.. Brown recluse). It could also be just an allergic reaction to the bite. I thought of bite by spider because of the two spots you describe. I would give a little bit of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (check dose w pharmacist) and seek medical attention if it seems to be spreading or turning darker red/purple.
