Sounds good: So long as they're not cancerous, then you are at liberty to have them removed when and if you wish. If they're not bothering you then you can likely leave them alone.

A number of possible: It could be dead skin and underlying tissue from a pressure spot or even malignant melanoma.  There are too many possibilities to mention them all, but if it has appeared just recently, have it checked and possibly biopsied by a podiatrist.  Soon!

Cold feet: You don't mention if your feet warm with socks or under a blanket.  If they do not , seek medical attention right away.   The dry skin can be related to circulation as can the discoloration.  See your podiatrist or your dermatologist .

Many possibilities: It could be a fungal or bacterial infection.  It could be bruising due to tight shoes or trauma.  It could be a pigmentation of the underlying skin.  It could be a skin disorder or melanoma, or it could be one of a number of many other possibilities.   Have your feet checked out by a professional.

Spots: The first right thing to do is see your podiatrist as it could be broken vessels with blood leaking into the surrounding tissue or it could be a fungal infection.  It is impossible to say without seeing the foot , which is exactly why you need to see your podiatrist .

Tough to say: I am always overly cautious when it comes to children.  There are certain characteristics that help doctors determine if the lesions are benign or not.  I would have the child evaluated by a pediatric dermatologist just to be on the safe side.

i have small red dots (not raised, don't itch) on my ankle/foot.some go away others end up as permanent brown spots.i have two medium marks on ankle. ?

Veins: Hemosiderin stains secondary to veins and or ankle swelling. Not dangerous but one should watch for itching to start or increased swelling. Venous ulcer could start. Wear good compression hose or socks 20-30 mm Hg is fine.

Possibly a wart: A sudden appearing brown spot on the foot is most likely a wart however it could be a pigmented skin lesion some of which can be fatal like a melanoma.  You need a medical doctor to see this and likely have a biopsy.
